Apparently it’s “Rand Paul Day” here at DustinStockton.com and hey, why not? The Jr. Senator from Kentucky is grabbing headlines all over the place!
Politico reports that Senator Paul has decided to back Incumbent Wyoming Senator Mike Enzi over would-be challenger Liz Cheney, daughter of former VP Cheney. Papa Cheney represented Wyoming in Congress for a decade (1979-1989).

Normally the Kentucky firebrand backs challengers over incumbents, but in this race he’s making an exception. I think I might know why.
I wonder if Liz Cheney runs, if she'd support Rubio's #amnesty plan, or not. For his part, Enzi did not support it. http://t.co/kbJj7jD3N9

Meanwhile, Senator Paul has taken an early lead among 2016 hopefuls in a poll of the Hawkeye state. Iowa traditionally holds the first-in-the-nation Presidential Caucus.
